Shining3D to Fulfill Order of 6,300 3D Printers for Autodesk Asia By End of May

Autodesk_LogoShining3D, headquartered in Hangzhou, China, has just announced that they will be delivering 6,300 3D printers to Autodesk Asia PTE LTD by the end of this month. This company has experienced staggering success and growth over the past year, and the recent contract just signed with Autodesk for delivery of such a large amount of 3D printers marks another giant leap of accomplishment for Shining3D.

While discussions regarding 3D printing and manufacturing are filled with prophecies of complete revolution and transformation, when one puts China into the picture, there is a bit of a question mark. The U.S. has been the 3D printing trailblazer, stunning the world with a relatively simple but yes, transforming manufacturing process that does obviously also have important implications for the future.

But will this make an impact on China? While it remains to be seen, if companies like Shining3D rise up en masse, China’s future in manufacturing will be even brighter, especially as they learn to use the mix of traditional manufacturing and 3D printing to their advantage.

Shining3D, appropriately named, has had the spotlight lately on their starring role as pioneers in Chinese 3D printing. They are the first Chinese company offering OTC stock in the 3D printing industry. Not only that, but they’ve experienced exponential growth that simply can’t be ignored—and they are blazing a path forward—with this latest Autodesk Asia deal demonstrating just their latest achievement.

Profits have been high, and they’ve reported growth of 400 percent, causing most of us to take note. Shining3D not only has a grasp on the business end of 3D printing, but they understand how important it is for making processes easier, as well as being used for an educational tool.

The Shining3D Einstart 3D Printer

Currently offering desktop and professional 3D printers like the Einstart-S and the Rapidise 3D printers, they also have a comprehensive line of 3D scanners, where they obviously have not only a corner on the market, but a great selection to choose from, with desktop scanners like the EinScan-S Desktop 3D Scanner, as well as those meant for:

These Shining3D products are being used in more than 60 countries. We’ve also reported on this busy company recently, regarding their plans to open a U.S. subsidiary as well. Shining3D isn’t just going gangbusters with manufacturing, they’re also sponsoring contests and supporting young designers as they make their way into the industry with events like the Shining3D Fashion Contest (with Pinshape).

On the homefront, they also have headquarters in Shanghai, Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and numerous other Chinese cities.

Working with an industry giant like Autodesk puts them hand in hand with a company that is dedicated not only in the U.S., but also in Asia, as well as Europe—expanding and spreading the magic of 3D design in the educational systems abroad. We’ve reported on their strong commitment to propelling the STEM agenda along internationally, and forging ahead in education so that graduates emerge with the skillsets required for amazing jobs that currently sit empty due to lack of workforce. This also means that schoolchildren everywhere will be learning about the incredible changes that can be made due to the self-sustainability 3D printing can offer to everyone, but especially in developing countries.
