MyMiniFactory.com says it’s the world’s largest, curated 3D printable object download platform for designers, and they’ve now announced the creation of MyMiniFactory TV.

MyMiniFactory.com launched during June 2013, and their team of experts test prints objects from the library on affordable 3D printers to check them for suitability. Each design includes a how-to section that explains best practices, and users can request a specific item, request that an existing item is adapted, or send in designs to be printed.
The company says that soon designers will be able to earn cash based on the number of downloads of their objects.
The London-based firm was founded in 2012 by Sylvain Preumont, a technology entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in start-ups.
MyMiniFactory TV, an online streaming service for 3D designers and makers, allows designers from around the world to broadcast free to the members of MyMiniFactory.com and gives them an opportunity to showcase their work “in a novel and engaging way.”
“Whether you’re a complete novice looking to get helpful tips and advice, or a 3D design guru wanting to show off what you’ve got, MMF TV welcomes you with open arms,” they say. “The TV is geared towards designers, but if you have a 3D printing project you’re working on, or just want to stream some some actual 3D printing, then set up a channel and get making.”
To lend a hand with the process, MyMiniFactory has created a blog post with detailed instructions for getting started on MMF TV, and the detailed instructions will help users “go live” to potential audience in the thousands.
The company says MMF TV is still in beta and though it is functional, “there might be one or two bugs you might encounter.” They’re asking for feedback to work out any issues, and you can find instructions on how to submit your feedback on their website as well.
