One company whose name is almost synonomous with ‘quaility’ is Afinia. Headquartered in Chanhassen, Minnesota, and a division of Microboards Technology, LLC, Afinia has made a name for themselves within the 3D printing space with their H480 3D Printer. This machine is capable of fabricating objects with very high resolution, is relatively fast, and is also affordable. In fact it won top honors in MAKE: Magazine’s 2014 ‘Ultimate Guide to 3D Printing’. The one area lacking with this machine is its rather small build envelope of just 140 x 140 x 135mm.
Today, Afinia has announced a brand new printer, one which will solve the small build envelope concerns many may have with the H480. The new Afinia H800 has just been revealed. Equipped with a much larger 255 x 205 x 205 mm build envelope, the ability to print at extremely fine resolutions, and a price tag which won’t break the bank, the H800 is sure to please, and may just be that printer you can say “has it all.” Below you will find the general specifications of this new machine:

According to the company the first H800 3D Printers will begin shipping in May of 2015.
