Creaform Launches The Go!SCAN 20 and Go!SCAN 50 3D Scanners

Scanning in 3D has been around for years, however the increased popularity of 3D printing has brought a great deal of interest to the 3D scanning market as of late.  Just like a 2D printer and a 2D scanner can work in tandem to copy goscan-1a document, a 3D scanner and printer can work together to copy physical 3D objects.

A company called Creaform understands the importance of this amazing technology, thus they have worked hard in launching two new versions of their Go!SCAN 3D portable scanners. The company has announced the release of the Go!SCAN 50, as well as the Go!SCAN 20.

The Go!SCAN 50 is targeted more towards those wishing to scan medium to larger objects, while the Go!SCAN 20 is perfect for those working with 3D printers. The Go!SCAN 20 allows for extremely intricate detailed scans of smaller objects. Below are several features of the new devices.

“Thanks to this latest Go!SCAN 3D release, 3D scanning has never been easier,” explained François Leclerc, product manager of Creaform. “With the addition of color and the intelligent hybrid positioning system, the Go!SCAN 3D are the professionals’ go-to all-around solution for professional-grade 3D scanning capabilities,”

The Specifications of each scanner are as follows:
