Hawk 3D Proto Seeks Airwolf 3D Printer Re-sellers Across Europe After Expanding Distribution Agreement

Airwolf 3D is one of those companies anyone should feel proud to be affiliated with, especially as they take the headlines with subjects like their latest Print-A-Thon. During this event, both the local and international community all came together in 3D printing to break the record for the number of 3D printers all working simultaneously—to 3D print 236 prosthetic hands in total, for those in need around the world. Airwolf also reaches out to those interested in learning by offering workshops, and is very involved in making 3D printing available in classrooms.

With a user-friendly focus as well as a priority on making 3D printing something that brings a better quality of life to many, Hawk 3D Proto, as the Airwolf 3D distributor in the UK and Ireland, is enjoying the enormous opportunity at hand to distribute quality 3D printers via Airwolf. Hawk 3D Proto is a division of Cutwel Limited, and is solely devoted to sales of 3D printers, 3D printing materials, as well as offering a 3D printing bureau and a large showroom in the UK. They also distribute BeeVeryCreative 3D printers, as well as the Stratasys Idea Series.

Hawk 3D Proto’s parent company, Cutwel Limited, has been in business since 1996, supplying cutting tools for engineering. Just last year, Senior 3D Printing Manager Ben Hawksworth teamed up with his father Paul Hawksworth, Managing Director of Cutwel, to open up a division for the sales of 3D printers–and Hawk 3D Proto was born.

Hawk 3D Proto has experienced such success with sales of the Airwolf 3D printers, even selling out certain items, that they’ve expanded their agreement with Airwolf 3D’s president, Mark Matthews, which will allow them to expand further in most of Europe as they actively search for re-sellers in:

Hawk 3D Proto is currently featuring items such as the multi-material Airwolf HDX, and the Airwolf HD2X, which offers a niche for the 3D printing enthusiast who wants to go larger and more complex, with the ability to build larger prototypes and print with two materials and two colors at the same time. It offers a print envelope of 11”x 8”x 12”, with layer-to-layer resolution as fine as .06mm (.002”). The HD2X is touted to have ‘lightning-fast speeds’ and can print with ABS, PLA, Nylon, Polycarbonate, PET, Bendlay, HIPS, Laywood, and the Wolfblend flexible TPU filament. The HD2x is also fully autonomous, meaning that it is not necessary to couple it to a computer to print.

The secret to Airwolf 3D printers is in a solid trio of qualities: affordability, durability, and quality. The machines are simple in terms of maintenance, perhaps requiring a periodical oiling of parts or replacing tightening belts. Most replacement parts cost no more than $50. With affordable printers, filament, and replacement parts, it’s a winning deal for companies, individuals, and educational institutions. Airwolf 3D printers are definitely making their mark in schools as they have been purchased by over 100 schools worldwide and are currently inspiring students from places like Florida State University in Tallahassee to a trade school in China.

As Hawk 3D Proto actively searches for re-sellers, they invite interested parties to email them at sales@hawk3dproto.co.uk.
