MecSoft Releases Rhino3DPRINT 2015 Software

There is no doubt that if we are to see a more widespread use of 3D printing within homes, businesses and institutions of education, 3D modeling will need to continue to improve. There are several companies out there working to further the development of 3D CAD and CAM software, making it simpler, more user friendly, and more powerful.

One such company is MecSoft, a global leader within the market for CAM and CAD software. Headquartered in Irvine California, the company has announced this weekend the upcoming release of their new Rhino3DPRINT 2015 software.

The new software is a plugin for the Rhinoceros 5.0 3D CAD system, which is one of the more popular and versatile 3D modeling software programs on the market. Rhino3DPRINT 2015 offers easy, automated tools which will prepare your 3D data for printing. Users can work with data from virtually any input source including scanners, digitizers, bitmaps, point clouds, and more.

“With the launch of this new product, MecSoft is redefining CAM by offering solutions to target both Additive and Subtractive manufacturing”, stated Joe Anand, President and CEO of MecSoft Corporation. “As we see both of these manufacturing technologies increasingly start to coexist in shops across the world, MecSoft is uniquely positioned to offer solutions to meet the requirements of such customers.”
