“Investor confidence has been steadily rising in the North American region – especially since last year – which translates to an accelerated pace of growth for businesses across sectors,” said Jim Atwell, partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and national managing partner of the emerging growth company practice.
The rankings cover companies in the following areas:
- Technology
- Media
- Telecommunications
- Life sciences
- Clean technology sectors
“We’re excited for this list every year because it’s such a great microcosm of the technology landscape in general,” said Eric Openshaw, vice chairman, Deloitte LLP and U.S. technology leader for Deloitte’s technology, media and entertainment and telecommunications industry practice in the Americas.
“3D Systems’ ranking in the Technology Fast 500 underscores the strength of our rapidly expanding portfolio of 3D products and services and the disruptive nature of our technology,” said Avi Reichental, President and CEO, 3DS. “Our powerful, end-to-end 3D products and services are driving breakthrough applications everywhere from 3D personalized healthcare and virtual surgical planning to the end-use production of flight-ready, metal aerospace components to a fully integrated, digital-to-physical workflow on the engineer’s desktop.”
