Roller Printer — Quality Delta Robot 3D Printer Launches on Indiegogo

While new 3D printers are rolling out seemingly daily, or at least crowdfunding projects to hopefully fund them are, buyers need to make an educated decision as to which machine best suits their needs, as well as their price range. When it comes to a crowdfunding campaign, there is a lot of uncertainty involved from the start. Will the company raise enough money to successfully produce their desired printer on time? Will the funds really be enough, or will the company’s budget run dry prior to the delivery of their product? This is why some genuinely well made machines do not get the the necessary funding for full scale production. Literally every week we see projects fall by the wayside, failing to generate enough publicity to attract backers.

One project like this may end up being the Roller Printer by CORO Technology. It’s a delta robot-based FFF printer, which comes packed full of features any 3D printing enthusiast would love to have. Made out of quality materials, with a high level of precision, the Roller Printer is sturdy, easy to use, and best of all, relatively affordable. Starting at $1,199 assembled, and $999 in kit form, CORO Technology hasn’t missed a beat in their production of a machine packed full of quality components. From the all-metal hotend, to the stainless steel case, to the high torque NEMA17 stepper motor, the printer shouts out ‘quality.’ Below are some of the general specifications for the Roller Printer:

The Poland-based company, which was founded by a man named Tomasz Kiełbasa, seeks to raise $10,000 on Indiegogo by January 17th and will make the printer available in two different stainless steel case options. The first is a polished stainless steel, which is beautiful and extremely shiny, while the other is a brushed stainless steel, similar to what many kitchen appliances use.

It will be interesting to see if the interest in the Roller Printer picks up as we get closer to the end of its crowdfunding campaign. Let us know your thoughts on this new 3D printer, and whether or not you have considered backing its campaign, in the Roller 3D Printer forum thread on 3DPB.com.
