CGTrader’s Easter 3D Printing Challenge Looks to Award Thousands of Dollars in Prizes

Easter is just three days away, and that means lots of fun, Easter candy, and best of all, the creativity centered around kids making their own unique Easter eggs and decorations. Growing up, every Christian child likely has dyed Easter eggs. It’scgrader-1 probably one of the most memorable experiences children have of the holiday.

A couple of weeks ago CGTrader, one of the world’s leading 3D model marketplace for computer graphics and 3D printing, announced the launch on their Easter 3D Printing Challenge. The challenge, which is sponsored by Sculpteo, 3DPrintUK, Reprapworld, PIRX, and Zatopa, runs until May 5th, and looks to award designers for their 3d modelling creativity, targeted towards the Easter holiday.

Many of the submissions in the early going are 3d printable models which include decorated Easter eggs, egg holders, Easter bunny caricatures, and more.

There will be two different categories of the challenge, including one for single models, and one for entire portfolios of models. Each category will have a grand prize winner, as well as two runner ups. Below are the prizes for each category.
