At the same time, Nano Dimension has announced three new customers for the DragonFly 2020 Pro: while unnamed, they include a world leader in the practical application of advanced technologies; an industry-leading advanced manufacturer with expertise in 3D printing; and a premier reseller of 3D printers and 3D CAD software.
According to Simon Fried, President of Nano Dimension USA, the company expects to see a lot more business coming in the near future, especially in the United States.
“We have a lot more happening this year here,” he told 3DPrint.com. “We’re seeing a lot of defense and medical, and oil and gas applications. There’s a sense that industry [O&G] is moving toward additive manufacturing.”
“The US has become a real focus for us…Since Simon moved to the States, it has taken time to set up; we’re there now,” Galit Beck, Public Relations Manager for Nano Dimension, told us at RAPID in discussing US operations and the latest announcements.
So far Nano Dimension has signed 10 leading resellers globally, including US-based industry leaders TriMech and FATHOM – both present and working to drive customer interest at RAPID – as well as Korea’s HDC and Taiwan’s General Integration Technology. Each of the new resellers will be investing in its own demonstration showroom and sales coverage resources.
Even though Nano Dimension is gaining resellers and customers all over the world, much of the company’s focus right now is on the United States.
“With a new Customer Experience Center in our Santa Clara office, a growing U.S. sales team and additional U.S. resellers, we are establishing wide presence in the U.S. market to accelerate revenue growth,” said Fried in the official announcement.
With its three new Customer Experience Centers, new service bureau, impressive showing at RAPID, and ever-expanding network of customers and resellers, Nano Dimension just keeps building on the quick success it had as soon as it introduced the original DragonFly 2020. As always, it’s exciting to follow the progress of this dynamic company and to see what comes next.
