Here we are, a couple months later and we just got word that a new 3D printer would be unveiled by the company at the 3D Print Show in Paris this weekend, October 17-18. The printer, called the Lewihe Sneaker, is also based on the same core XY technology seen in the company’s other machines, but is larger than their prior printers. Built on an aluminum alloy chassis, the Sneaker is a large, sturdy, fast printer, which is affordably priced. Below you will find some of the general specifications of this new machine.

Additionally, there is an optional camera (with 320 x 240 resolution) for those of you wishing to monitor your prints remotely from a phone, computer or tablet, as well as an option for WiFi connectivity.
According to the company, the Lewihe Sneaker will be available starting in December of this year, just in time for the holidays. It will be priced at 1490 euros including VAT (approx $1900). Further details were just made available on the Lewihe website as we approach the 3D Print Show at Carrousel Du Louvre, in Paris France.
