UnionTech Shows Off New Series of PILOT 3D Printers at TCT Show

Founded in 2000, UnionTech is a Chinese 3D printer manufacturer that began expanding further globally, and into the US last year, and is representing at the TCT Show this year being held in Birmingham, UK from September 26-28.

UnionTech will be highlighting their PILOT 3D printers, a commercial series geared toward companies engaged in additive manufacturing who seek the following:

As one of the forerunners in SLA technology, UnionTech has continued to dig deeper in developing 3D printers in a competitive environment that continues to intensify. With new products, their goal has been to offer robust technology that is low maintenance, precise, durable, and affordable. In a recent press release, the Chinese manufacturer explained they have been working to assist users who require more versatility, but more importantly—lower cost.

“This unmet need in the marketplace has led UnionTech to develop the PILOT series,” stated UnionTech.

The PILOT series presents an open design for materials and software, and matches the industrial strength of their RSPro production series. The PILOT 250 offers a 250 x 250 x 250mm platform; the PILOT 450 offers a 450 x 450 x 400mm build platform. Both also include the following features:

With the production of the innovative PILOT series, UnionTech will allow users to explore many new applications with greater versatility in 3D printing.

“The SL process is capable of directly producing prototypes across a broad spectrum of toughness, temperature resistance, and strength and stiffness for fit and function evaluations,” stated UnionTech. “There are broader ranges of stereolithography applications that include: prototype tooling for injection molding, patterns for investment casting to create near net shape metal parts, and metal plated composites capable of die cast metal properties that can be developed with a single piece of equipment.”

With the motto ‘Create your imagination,’ UnionTech has been in the business of creating SLA 3D printers for almost two decades now. Users can look forward to having access to exceptionally high quality in technology, along with the much-needed affordability factor. This progressive manufacturer aims to offer accuracy, superior feature resolution, and smooth surfaces. Their technology is available in commercial and production scale machinery, and you can find out more about all of their products here.
