PostProcess Technologies Opens New Headquarters in Buffalo, NY

PostProcess Technologies is known for their technology automating post-printing in 3D printing. Offering such a process to users eliminates the tedium and work involved in removing support structures and finishing surfaces. While this is becoming a thriving sub-industry in itself, PostProcess Technologies has been a forerunner in post-processing, and especially within industrial 3D printing. Just last year, PostProcess released their Hybrid Series, a line of fully automated post-processing machines. And with their successful momentum continuing, the New York company also finished a $4 million seed round earlier this year.

Now, the company is unveiling a new headquarters in Buffalo. The grand opening ceremony was held on September 22nd, with a big celebration that included not only the PostProcess team, but also New York State Senator Tim Kennedy, other state and local officials, and customers, vendors, and investors (note also that the state of New York has contributed $1 million to PostProcess alone).

The new headquarters will encompass their team, which continues to grow. This includes the following:

The FINISH3D™ lab will also be housed in Buffalo, equipped for R&D, customer benchmarking, training, and solutions demonstrations.

“It’s an exciting day for PostProcess to reach this milestone as a result of continued adoption of our groundbreaking technology solutions that are transforming the additive manufacturing market,” commented Daniel J. Hutchinson, Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer, PostProcess Technologies. “We appreciate the support of the state and city, along with our customers, investors and suppliers, so we can continue on this journey to unleash additive manufacturing.”

“I am quite truly impressed with what PostProcess is creating – an innovation that will remove what has become the bottleneck and allow for volume production of additive parts at the exact moment the market needs a solution to scale up,” commented Ulf Ivarsson, Founder and Chairman at AB Stratio and PostProcess investor. “In my experience as an investor, with dozens of successful startup ventures, I see the promising indicators of what is going to be a thrilling journey, with today’s grand opening as one of many exciting moments to come.”

PostProcess has a new logo to go with their new offices as well. It is “designed to better communicate its position as the world leader of zero to one innovations for 3D post-printing, combining software, hardware, and chemistry into a comprehensive, intelligent solution,” according to their latest press release.

PostProcess is viewed as one of the hottest new startups in the 3D printing industry, and their grand opening celebration serves as evidence of their popularity and growth. Their first office was 120 square feet. Fast forward to today, and they have expanded to over 6,000 square feet in their new facility in Buffalo.

“With our rapid growth in employees and customer installations, this progressive headquarters space will allow us to better capture and serve the incredible inbound demand for our revolutionary, breakthrough solutions,” said Jeff Mize, CEO at PostProcess.
