3DPrint.com and 3DPrintBoard.com Integrate Further — Join the Discussion on the World’s Most Popular 3D Printing Forum!

Here at 3DPrint.com, we pride ourselves on keeping our fingers on the pulse of the 3D printing world — and that includes treasuring our deep-seated connections to the community at large. From following the news from major global corporations to chatting with first-time makers tinkering in their garages, our community is expansive and extremely active.

From our start in early 2014, we’ve been tied to 3DPrintBoard.com, the most active 3D printing discussion forum online, founded back in September 2013. And now — just scroll down this page! We’re incorporating the forum into our main site here at 3DPrint.com, highlighting recent forum posts right on our home page.

You might have noticed that at the end of each of our articles is a link to discuss it over at 3DPB.com, where we have a section devoted to 3D Printing News, Interviews, and Editorials Supplied by 3DPrint.com. We update this section each day with summaries of our pieces so we can hear your thoughts on the news we’ve uncovered and shared. However, that’s just one section of a major forum — it’s not just about the news we’ve curated.

In the 3D Printing section alone, there are threads devoted to General Discussion (with more than 11,000 posts in over 2,000 individual threads); 3D Printers (Hardware — with more than 1,200 threads); 3D Printer Parts, Filament & Materials (with almost 800 threads); Tips, Tricks and Tech Help (with more than 800 threads); and 3D Printing in Education (with close to 200 threads, and including sub-forums devoted to teachers & professors; students; and public & private class/club groups).

There are also forums to discuss 3D Design/3D Scanning/3D Modelling, where thousands of posts are devoted to talking about 3D Modeling, Design, Scanners; a 3D Printing Gallery where users can share their finished products and designs; and an area to get feedback and help, in the 3D Design Feedback/Assistance/Work-in-Progress section. It gets specific, too, at 3DPB.com — interested in discussing 3D printed prosthetics? There’s a forum for that! Curious about the latest Inside 3D Printing conference? Check out this section. Love 3D printing in robotics? Join the discussion!

In the Specific 3D Printers, Scanners & Hardware forum, you can hop onto a thread dedicated to the hardware you actually have in your own home/office/warehouse. Additionally, there’s a forum for self-promotion and marketplace discussion. Make something rad and interested in sharing and/or selling? Looking for a designer for a project you have in mind? Share designs, barter services, and more there.

With unofficial tech help available ’round the clock for various 3D printing and design issues, and even a 24/7 live chat with other 3D printing enthusiasts and professionals, advertising opportunities for companies and brands, and a gallery to share designs (with the potential to be featured on 3DPrint.com!), there’s something for everyone in the larger 3D printing community. By integrating more closely with 3DPrint.com, 3DPB.com is able to increase its offerings — and vice versa. We’re bringing these features together to showcase our community and make our entire ecosystem easier to use. There will be further integrations coming soon, too!

As of the time of writing, 3DPB.com stats include: 17,350 unique threads with a total of 83,412 posts — and a growing community of, currently, 16,819 members.
