Given that last week was a flurry of activity, this week is a bit more relaxed. We have Toronto’s monthly Tuesday meetup scheduled, as well as a meetup in Padova, Italy. Let’s check these events out in more detail!
3D Hubs Toronto Pub Nite #6 | Toronto, Canada
You really have to hand it to Toronto’s 3D Hubbers. They really know how to throw a consistently scheduled 3D printing party. Not only did Toronto participate in the #3DPrintingDay, but the city has also consistently held 3D Hubs Pub Nites for 6 consecutive months! The second Tuesday of every month, they gather at York Mills’ Fox and Fiddle Pub for an evening of all things 3D printing related. So, the gathering is this Tuesday, December 8th, from 6:30-8:30 pm.
Peter, or “Dr. MakeMake,” does a good job of getting people out for these pub nights, it seems. But it also appears that Toronoto has much enthusiasm for 3D printing. The city now boasts 159 3D printers and reports the highest growth in the top ten last month. In early November, the city climbed to the #9 spot worldwide, too. Now, Toronto has set its sights on surpassing Boston’s number of 3D printers (160) and if it keeps up these pub nights, I am sure they will succeed in this goal.
As usual, if you sponsor the first round of appetizers and drinks, you can have the floor for an information session (not an overt sales pitch).
3D Hubs and Help3D.it Meetup | Padova, Italy
Thankfully, the enthusiasm seems to be there for a fun evening learning all about 3D printing. Beginners and seasoned printing people are all invited to attend! Will you be attending any of these events? Let us know in the 3D Hubs Events forum on 3DPB.com.
