Now, it’s time to give a chance to a whole new group of startups at RoboUniverse San Diego on December 15 at the San Diego Convention Center. Sponsored by Mooreland Partners and Asimov Ventures, the winner of San Diego’s RoboGameChanger Startup Competition can look forward to a $10,000 prize (uncapped convertible note) from early-stage technology venture capital firm, Asimov Ventures, which shares in the commitment to offering these startups exposure to industry leaders as well as receiving valuable feedback from experienced, seasoned robotics innovators–all while they have the pleasure of competing to win and have the opportunity to raise funding.
The names of 11 startups whose talents and innovations will be showcased in San Diego has just been released, while it’s expected that a handful of others may also be announced soon. Companies competing so far are:

- Haddington Dynamics
- Harvest CROO Robotics
- Infinite Trading
- INOVA Drone
- Muse Robotics
- Qelzal
- Robolink
- SkyFront
- Transcend Robotics
- UMAC Air
The names of the judges have been released also. For this competition, the moderator is Ping Wang, PhD, and those judging will be as follows:
- Tyler Benster, General Partner, Asimov Ventures
- Ellen Chang, Managing Partner, LightSpeed Innovation
- Rick Dalton, Managing Director, Mooreland Partners
- Houman Haghighi, Staff Manager of Business Operations, Qualcomm Ventures
