CGTrader is to 3D models as Autotrader is to cars. It’s a one stop destination for looking for, posting, and downloading 3-dimensional models. Many of these models are made specifically for 3D printing, as these are the ones that we are interested in.

Last month we covered the top viewed and top downloaded 3D printable models from CGTrader. That list included some very interesting, intriguing, and even slightly controversial designs. This month’s list is just as exciting, if not even more so. Thanks to CGTrader for providing us with these details. Here are the most viewed and most downloaded 3D printable model from the past 30 days.

Top Viewed 3D Printable Models

1) LG G Watch R Desktop Stand
trader1a
This is a very useful charging stand that can be 3D printed from the comfort of your own home. It is designed to fit the charging module from the LG G Watch R. It allows for the watch to be put in place while the battery is charged. The design can be purchased for $4.99 and then 3D printed on a compatible FDM-based 3D printer. If you don’t have a 3D printer, don’t worry; you can buy this item already printed from Shapeways.com.

2) 3D Printable Nude Couple
trader2a
It seems as though CGTrader users have a thing for nudity. Last month it was the 3D printable “Girl on Chair,” and this month it’s this unique model. Priced at $49.87, you can now download and 3D print this attractive nude couple on your desktop 3D printer. The model, which was created using Zbrush, prints out as a 5.9 x 5.9 x 11.2 cm figurine.

3) Trizia
trader3a
This 3D printed model of “Trizia” is available to purchase already 3D printed for between $139.08 and $579.16. We aren’t exactly sure who would be willing to pay that much for a 3D printed plastic model, but if you do happen to have your own 3D printer, you can download the model yourself and print it at home. It will still cost you $50, though, for this rather interesting 3D model.

4) Pen or Pencil Holder
trader4a
OK, perhaps you aren’t exactly into 3D printing nude models, models of women that are pretty close to being nude, or watch charging stations. Coming in at #4 on this month’s list of most viewed 3D printable models on CGTrader is this rather unique pencil/pen holder. Featuring a coral-like design, it can hold pens, pencils, and other small objects. It makes for the perfect little desktop piece, which is sure to tidy things up a bit. Best of all, this model is entirely free to download and print at home, thanks to BeeVeryCreative.

5) Roaring Low-Poly Lion
trader5a
I don’t know what it is about 3D printing, but people seem to be in the habit of creating all sorts of low-poly designs. This one is of a roaring lion, and I mus say, it is quite the unique piece. It has been optimized to save on printing materials as well as support material, and actually won 2nd place in the Low Poly 3D Printing Contest on Pinshape. The model can be download and printed at home for just $3.00 or you can pay a lot more ($55-$367) to have it 3D printed for you.

trader3b
